Return and Cancellation Policies in Plain English
Read the policy, not the badge. Sellers marketing a '30-day satisfaction guarantee' while their policy text states 'all sales final due to the nature of the products' — sometimes in the same market, from different sellers. By normal retail standards, returns here are near-nonexistent, and buyers usually learn it at the worst moment.
Three regimes we found (summarized, dated 2026-10-13)
| Term | XDollHub pattern | Gynoid via a retailer | EU made-to-order pattern |
|---|---|---|---|
| Free cancel window | 12 hours | 24 hours (fee after) | Made-to-order exempt from 14-day cooling-off |
| Later cancel fee | ~20% by progress | 'Lost work' fee (amount unknown) | n/a |
| Used product | No refund | — | Cooling-off expires immediately on use |
| Damage reporting | Within 24 hours, photo/video | unknown | Per main terms |
Elsewhere our research observed restocking fees up to 50%, and damage windows of 24–48 hours. How consistently fees are enforced is unknown.
Plain-English translation
- Change of mind after use: no. Hygiene rules make used dolls non-returnable industry-wide. That is understandable — but it means pre-purchase correctness matters more here than in almost any other category.
- Custom = non-returnable. Made-to-order dolls are effectively final sale, including under EU distance-selling exemptions stated by retailers.
- Your leverage expires in hours. Inspect unused, photograph everything, and report within the window — see How to inspect a delivered product.
- Remedy usually means parts or a kit, not a replacement or refund.

How this guide was written
From the seller and manufacturer listings behind our catalog records, retailer policy pages and owner accounts we reviewed, checked 13 Oct 2026. Where a fact could not be checked, the guide says so rather than filling the gap. See our methodology, editorial policy and who we are. Spotted an error? Tell us.
We may earn a commission when you buy through seller links. It never changes our rankings or verdicts. We have not hands-on tested the products discussed. Prices and policies change; confirm terms with the seller before you pay.
