Editorial policy

Independence

Editorial decisions are ours alone. Affiliate commissions, seller requests and free products (we accept none at present) never change which models we cover, how we describe them, how they are ordered or what our verdicts say. If we ever accept a product or payment that could look like a conflict, we will say so on the page it affects.

Product eligibility

We cover adult-form products only. We do not list, describe, link to or promote any product designed or marketed to resemble a minor, and we exclude any seller that sells such products from future partnership. We do not publish sexually explicit imagery or language.

Accuracy and wording

• Facts carry a source and a date. Opinions are written as opinions.
• Manufacturer claims are attributed to the manufacturer ("the listing describes…").
• Missing information is stated as missing, never turned into a selling point.
• Superlatives ("lightest", "tallest") are checked across the whole catalog before publication.

Use of software and AI tools

We use software, including AI writing and research assistants, to help gather, organize and draft material. Every published fact must trace to a recorded source. Automated checks run on every build and stop publication if a page contains placeholders or unpublished working notes, and comparative claims are recalculated against the full catalog.

Images

We publish product photographs only with permission from the seller or manufacturer, credited on the image. Until then, each model is shown with a specification illustration drawn from its own record and labelled as an illustration. Our homepage artwork is brand artwork and does not depict any product we list.

Corrections

If something on Doll Verdict is wrong or out of date, tell us through [email protected] (or see the contact page) with the page address, what is wrong and, if you can, a source. We review every report against the evidence, correct confirmed errors promptly and note substantive corrections on the affected page with the date.
