FanReal vs ZELEX

Choosing between FanReal and ZELEX comes down to listed weight, ZELEX’s SLE material, and how much price evidence you need. Here is what our 13 sourced records show — and what they don’t.

Our verdict, by what matters to you

• If the lightest carry matters most: FanReal’s 158 cm body (Qian and Jia) is listed at 31 kg — the lowest weight on either side, 4.7 kg under the lightest ZELEX record (35.7 kg). Our records don’t say whether these weights include the head, so treat the gap as approximate. See weights.
• If you specifically want ZELEX’s SLE material: all 7 ZELEX records here are SLE, ZELEX’s own silicone formulation; the 6 FanReal records are silicone (1 listed as RST silicone). We found no independent test comparing SLE with other silicones, so this is a preference, not a quality ranking. See materials.
• If you want the tallest option: ZELEX’s 172 cm records (Alexa, Honora) are the tallest here; FanReal’s tallest records are 170 cm. See heights.
• If price is the deciding factor — neither yet: we have no dated US-dollar prices at an editorial seller on the FanReal side and none on the ZELEX side, plus 4 FanReal prices at our affiliate partner (below). That is not enough to say which brand costs less. See prices.

Side by side

Weight, on the same footing

FanReal’s records run from 31 to 40 kg and ZELEX’s from 35.7 to 41 kg. We cannot put them on one basis: none of these 13 records says whether its figure includes the head. So compare the ranges, not single models, and confirm the with-head weight with the seller before you plan lifting and storage.

Materials

Every ZELEX record here is SLE, which ZELEX presents as its own silicone formulation. FanReal’s records are silicone, with 1 listed as RST silicone. Both are silicone families, so the silicone vs TPE care differences do not separate these brands. Claims about SLE feel or durability come from the manufacturer; we have no independent evidence either way.

ZELEX: our affiliate partner lists ZELEX bodies, but not with the head codes that identify the ZELEX models we cover, so we have not linked any.

What we couldn’t check

• Warranty and return terms: recorded for 0 of 13 models on this page. Ask any seller before you pay.
• Weight basis: our records don’t say whether these weights include the head, so the weights cannot be put on one basis. The gap between brands may be smaller or larger than it looks.
• ZELEX prices: none of the 7 ZELEX records has a dated US-dollar price; the listings we used priced them in another currency or showed no price.
• Configured prices: each price here is for the configuration on that listing, not a build you choose. Options such as ROS heads or upgraded skin change the total, and we have not captured itemised option prices for either brand.
• SLE versus other silicone: we found no independent test, so we make no claim about feel, durability or care differences.
• FanReal Qian and Jia: the source listing address was not recorded, so their figures are provisional.
• We have not handled any of these products.

Which suits whom

• FanReal may suit you if a lower listed weight matters (the 158 cm body at 31 kg), or you want a model whose price we have actually seen in US dollars.
• ZELEX may suit you if you want SLE specifically, or a taller 172 cm body — and you are prepared to get a quote, since we have no US-dollar ZELEX price.
• Neither yet if you need written warranty or return terms to decide: we have none on record for either brand.
